  • SKF bearings with solid oil are designed for applications where high humidity and occasional exposure to water and other contaminants are a real problem. Bearings containing solid oil are lubricated for the life of the bearing and cannot be relubricated.

    The increase in operating temperature pushes the oil to the surface of the polymer material, supporting a continuous supply of lubricant. During downtime, any excess oil is reabsorbed back into the polymeric material.
