Combined needle roller bearings

  • SKF combination needle roller bearings consist of a radial needle roller bearing and a thrust bearing.
  • They can carry both radial and axial loads. They are particularly suitable for applications where other types of locating bearing configurations take up too much space, where axial loads are too high, where speeds are too high or where there is insufficient lubricant for a simple thrust washer configuration.
  • SKF offers three basic designs of combined needle roller bearings.

  • Needle roller/cylindrical roller thrust bearings
    The relubrication intervals for the radial and thrust sections of the bearing must be calculated separately. The shorter of the two intervals should be used.
