cylinder roller bearing

  1. SKF cylindrical roller bearings are available in many designs, series, types and sizes. The main design differences are the number of roller rows and inner/outer ring flanges and cage design and material.
  2. Cylinder roller bearing meet the challenges of applications facing heavy radial loads and high speeds. It can withstand axial displacement (except for bearings with ribs on both inner and outer rings), and has the characteristics of high rigidity, low friction and long service life.
  3. Cylinder roller bearing are also available in sealed or split designs. In sealed bearings, the rollers are protected from contaminants, water and dust while providing lubricant retention and contaminant exclusion.
  4. This provides lower friction and longer service life. Split bearings are primarily used in inaccessible bearing arrangements, such as crankshafts, where they simplify maintenance and replacement.

cylinder roller bearing

Single row cylinder roller bearing

It provides a variety of designs, series and sizes, with higher axial bearing capacity and high-speed capacity. The main differences between these bearings are cage design and material, and the configuration of inner and outer ring flanges.

High-capacity cylinder roller bearing

With the high load carrying capacity of full complement bearings and the high speed capability of caged bearings, these bearings are designed for applications such as industrial and wind turbine gearboxes and mining equipment.

Double row cylinder roller bearing

Because of their second row of rollers, these bearings are suitable for heavy radial loads, as well as higher axial load carrying capacity and high-speed capacity.

Four-row cylinder roller bearing

Available in cylindrical or tapered bores and open or sealed designs, these bearings are able to accommodate very heavy radial loads due to the high number of rollers and are ideal for rolling mill applications at high rolling speeds.

Single row full complement cylindrical roller bearings

As they are not equipped with a cage, these bearings incorporate a maximum number of rollers and are therefore suitable for very heavy radial loads and have an increased radial stiffness.

Double row full complement cylindrical roller bearings

There is also no cage for the second row of rollers, which means that these bearings can be designed to contain the maximum number of rollers, making them suitable for very heavy radial loads and increased radial stiffness.

SKF Cooper split cylindrical roller bearings

It is mainly used for inaccessible bearing arrangement or crank shaft, and split bearing is used, because the maintenance or replacement of non-split bearing will be very time-consuming, and will lead to long machine downtime and high cost.

Features and Benefits

  1. high carrying capacity

  2. high stiffness

  3. Adapt to axial displacement
The exception is bearings with flanges on both the inner and outer rings.

  4. low friction
    split flange design
This, combined with the roll end design and surface finish, promotes lubricant film formation, which reduces friction and increases axial load capacity.

  5. long lasting

  6. Logarithmic roller profile reduces edge stress at roller/raceway contact and susceptibility to misalignment and shaft deflection.

  7. Enhanced operational reliability

  8. The surface finish of the contacting surfaces of the rollers and raceways supports the formation of a hydrodynamic lubricating film.

  9. separable and interchangeable

  10. The separable parts of SKF cylindrical roller bearings are interchangeable. This facilitates installation and removal as well as maintenance inspections.

Applications

  1. SKF cylinder roller bearing have features that make them suitable for many types of industrial applications and are critical for some. They can be used in both locating and non-locating bearing positions in bearing arrangements such as:

  2. fixed gearbox

  3. car gearbox

  4. electric motor

  5. vibration motor

  6. Wind turbine

  7. off-highway equipment

  8. pumps and compressors

  9. Material Handling Equipment

  10. textile machinery

  11. railway vehicle

  12. rolling mill

FAQ

Loads are defined by their direction. Loads perpendicular to the shaft are called radial loads and loads parallel to the shaft are called axial (thrust) loads.

Successful mounting is critical to the life cycle of your bearing. Proper bearing dismounting can safeguard other machine components and maintenance workers.

  1. The bearing is at the heart of all rotating equipment, and the condition of the bearing often reflects how well a machine is running.
  2. Learn more about bearing damage and bearing failure – and how to prevent it.

Sure, free samples are available for stock products if you can pay for the shipping cost.

We have regular stock for standard bearings that can be shipped right after your payment. It will take 15-60 days for new production order, which depends on your order quantity.

  1. All our bearings are 100% inspected strictly before packing.
  2. If any defective products received, please provide photos and video to show us the problem and help us improve the quality.
  3. New products will be sent to you as replacement if the probelm is product quality.
